Forgotten, yet remembered?
We know our persecuted sisters are often forgotten by policymakers, as their compounded vulnerability of faith and gender goes unrecognised. This needs to change, or else they fall between the gaps and suffer in silence.
But this year, 22 MPs have remembered them. Can you ensure they know what to do next?
What next?
On International Women’s Day, 22 MPs attended our panel event with Aid to the Church in Need to highlight this critical issue. Following the event, can you ask your MP to do two things?
1. Read the new Open Doors report, The Persecution of Christian Women and Girls
2. Sign a parliamentary petition, especially regarding Nigerian Christian women.
