What next for our Iranian sisters?

The pressure is rising in Iran.

Every day, Iranian women live under the oppression of both their religious freedom and rights as women. Every day, for example, they are forced to wear strict religious clothing – regardless of their faith. But protests in Iran are intensifying to challenge this oppression.

On 7 March, ahead of International Women’s Day, MPs heard the powerful testimony of Dabrina, an Iranian Christian campaigner, at a parliamentary panel event. Can you now ensure your MP knows how to take action?

Ask your MP to:
-    Sign a parliamentary petition to raise this issue on the political agenda
-    Read new Open Doors research on gender-specific religious persecution.
