No more shame
Around the world, millions of women are persecuted because of both their faith and their gender – making them particularly vulnerable. The persecution they face is specific and complex.
In countries like Bangladesh, women who choose Jesus are especially at risk.
Jorina’s story is one of courage in the face of unimaginable persecution. She endured shame, humiliation, and physical assault for her faith. But through resilience, she overcame trauma and became a powerful leader, empowering others to say “No more shame.”
Women, like Jorina who convert to Christianity are disproportionately targeted with physical and sexual assault, ostracism and discrimination.
We must stand with our sisters. We must support those who are resisting or recovering from faith-based persecution.
Will you join us in taking action?
Write to your MP today and urge them to attend the upcoming Westminster Hall debate on the ‘Persecution of Christians and Freedom of Religion or Belief’. Ask them to speak up for women like Jorina and ensure the UK continues to defend the rights of those persecuted for their faith.
Your voice can make a difference. Take action now – make sure your MP is there on 8 April!
